David Miyashiro

David Miyashiro, Ed.D., PhD. is the superintendent at Cajon Valley Union School District, and a collaborator with the White House and the U.S. Department of Education, and frequent speaker at education conferences and summits. His passion is taking education to new levels through innovation. As a leader, he believes that human and career development are achieved when each individual student is known well and that school systems can serve the community-at-large in expansive ways. He was recognized by the White House and U.S. Department of Education as one of the Top 35 District Leaders in Personalized Learning. Cajon Valley Union School District has earned many honors including a CA Distinguished Schools Award.
